Introduction — Logic behind sizing for bottoms
At CP Company, pants aim for urban comfort: many tapered fits (comfortable thighs, tapered leg), technical materials (nylon, stretch), and often well-constructed waistbands (fly or drawstring/elastic on joggers). Overall, they are TTS (true to size); adjust primarily according to the fit and the usage (city/commute, weekend, sport-city).

Simple rules (to avoid returns)
-
Cargo / Chino (fly): TTS; if between two sizes → choose the larger one (waist = comfort).
-
Jogger (drawstring + elasticated waist): TTS if you like them fitted; +1 for a more relaxed drape.
-
Tech/Softshell (Nylon/Stretch): TTS; if you have strong thighs/hamstrings → +1 to maintain ease.
-
Fleece / Sweats (Diagonal Raised Fleece, etc.): TTS; +1 if you want a loose look.

Measuring & trying on — the no-return method
Measuring
Waist: at the natural crease (without tightening).
Hips: widest point.
Inseam: from crotch to leg opening (measure on a pair of pants that fits you well).
Trying on
Put on the shoes you usually wear.
Check thigh/seat comfort by sitting down.
On a cargo/jogger: walk a few steps → the ankle must remain free.
If you are between sizes: take the larger one, you can adjust at the waistband/drawstring.
Hemming & alterations
A simple hem adjusts the length (30/32/34").
On joggers with elastic cuffs, length is more forgiving.
Care (to maintain the fit)
Nylon/tech: 30°C, no fabric softener, air dry; DWR reactivation 10–15 min low heat if water no longer beads.
Cotton/chino: 30°C, gentle spin, light ironing for creases.
Fleece: 30°C inside out, no high heat when drying (avoids visual shrinking).
FAQ — CP Company pants sizes
Do CP Company pants fit large or small?
Usually TTS. Choose +1 if you want a more relaxed look or if you are between sizes.
Cargo vs jogger: should I take the same size?
In general yes. On a jogger, +1 gives a more loose look; on a cargo, TTS keeps the clean tapered look.
Nycra (stretch): should I size down?
Stay TTS to preserve the line. Sizing down can "stretch" the material and cause a loss of comfort.
Which length (inseam) to choose?
The majority of models come in standard length (≈ 32"). Get a hem if needed. Joggers handle length with the elastic.
Between two waist sizes (e.g., 32/34)?
Take the larger one: the waistband/drawstring allows you to adjust without compressing the abdomen.
